We are an association of former military dependents who were stationed on various Air Force Bases around the world and who are dedicated to reuniting with those long lost friends from so many years ago!.

This site originated in Jan 1996 with an initial list of 340 names from the Vancouver reunion. It has grown to over 12,000 names and continues to grow at an astounding rate every month. As more features are added and updated, (like email addresses, base history, trivia and many others) it requires more time, greater resources and extra finances to maintain the site on a day to day basis.

13 is not an unlucky number!

The cafba web site was created in January 1996.

13 years ago! Now that's hard to believe!

We started with 350 names. Now we have over 12,000.

And we are growing every month!

As we have grown the amount of time, money and workload to create, maintain and improve the cafba website has incresed tremendously.

My part time dream has evolved into an almost full time job!

Think about it!

First there is the need to add all of the new members.

Then we have to keep current with all the existing members.

New ideas and information has to be added on a regular basis to keep you coming back!

This all takes a huge amount of time!

The information available on this site is for personal, non commercial use only. We want to keep it that way!

You must now be a registered and paid up member of cafba to access the full web site.

I apologize to all those who liked to drop by the site anonymously and to the bots who frequent the site regularly - well just show your human side and we will let you in.

Membership can be of three types.

Those who just want to add their names and contact information to the database but don't want to access anything afterwards.

Then there are those who want full access to the membership web site where they can see other members profiles, where they lived and the rest of the web site information (newsletters, trivia, contests, talents etc). These members pay out $10.00 USD annually to have full web access.

Paid membership helps pay for the costs of site management and development, internet connection, data storage and backup, database development and maintenance and the time to get all those things done!

Then there are those members who truly belong and are part of the web site. They write newsletter articles, contribute to the forum regularly or send in pictures to be shared with others. These members pay reduced membership fees and have full web site access and a special place in my heart!.

If you are already a registered member of cafba then just click on the 'Member login' button on the left hand menu on this page. This will take you to a member login screen where you must enter your username and password.

If you don't remember or haven't been told yet what your user name and password are just email me and I will send it to you.

Please do not re-register until I ask you to. This will avoid duplicate entries in the database.

Once you enter your login information and you click on the 'Login' button you will be taken to a 'Member Profile' page where you can update your user contact information. On that page there is a link with a generic username and password that when clicked will take you to the rest of the web site. You can now do searches by last name, by bases, time at the base and by cafbaID.

And the members cheer heartily.
